Wings is a brilliant blend of reality meets fantasy that holds the reader spell-bound and captivated from cover to cover.  Even as an adult reader I simply couldn't put this book down and only wish I had access to such fabulous fiction when I was a young teen to ignite my passion for reading at an earlier age.

Despite the mythical subject matter, Aprilynne's characters are believable and the very human issues they deal with are easy to relate to.

Wings is the first in a series of four books and as such leaves many questions unanswered -  leaving doors wide open to expand the story line around the heroine's dual life whilst further exploring the main characters and their blossoming relationships.

Aprilynne's take on faeries is refreshingly original - one that will surprise, intrigue and leave you wanting to read more...
